In her book Atlas of the Heart, Brene´ Brown shares " Love is not something we give or get; it is something that we nurture and grow, a connection that can be cultivated between two people only when it exists within each one of them - we can love others only as much as we love ourselves."
For me, photographing weddings has been both an incredible honor and an absolute joy. A study of love if you will through photographs and it has been through capturing the beauty of love in it's many forms that has helped me come to a place of greater love for myself and others. It is with deep gratitude that I share these images as they have helped me dive deeper into the feeling and meaning of love. It is with the help of my clients, who have allowed me in to capture their love for one another, that I have nurtured a greater love for self and life.
Love can be seen in passing moments and amplified with the beauty of shadow and light. Love brings meaning to our lives and it is love that helps us tap into a greater sense of connection with ourselves and others.
“Promise to stay wild with me. We'll seek and return and stay to find beauty and the extraordinary in all the spaces we can claim. We'll know how to breathe magic into the mundane."
