Giving Thanks
Expressing gratitude is said to reduce emotional stress and increase happiness and satisfaction.
So, for the past few years, I have been keeping a daily gratitude journal and can now see how it has positively impacted my life. Each day I write out three things I’m grateful for. I try to be as specific as possible with my entries.
Being specific when you recognize and show your appreciation towards others conveys sincerity.
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to express our gratitude to those who have contributed services on our behalf or given gifts of their time but you don’t have to wait for Thanksgiving to share how you feel. Writing a personal note is another great way to say thank you.
