Fall is one of my favorite seasons. This year I had the opportunity and great pleasure to spend a full month in Upstate NY, Catskill Region and New York City with my hubby, Alex and grandpup Ted. I spent the month capturing some incredibly beautiful and inspiring shoots and weddings.

 

Filled my heart with the companionship of loved ones. The summer breeze shifted to crisp autumn sweater-weather, my heart still dancing with utter joy. Noticing the leaves change colors, the smell of bonfire and laughter filling the air. It’s like hearing your favorite playlist by the fire while sipping on the most delicious latte.

 

Inspiration all around. Early morning light twinkling through the shades. A cup of warm tea, sounds of nature and journaling about dreams. Exploration walks through woods and nearby towns, stopping in all the local shops. In the sky, birds soaring with glee. Mushrooms of all types making themselves known as we wander past the sounds of running streams. City dogs sniffing one another – romping around chasing each other – owners connecting for a New York Minute. Pulling on your favorite pair of boots and pairing it with a great outfit.

 

It’s the bridal party toast, during a candle lit, full moon dinner, warm fuzzy feeling of love and belly laughter. The authentic sound of a live band. The groom that crafted a song for his bride, teary-eyed soulfully singing while strumming a shiny guitar. It’s a long embrace from a best friend. Peering into the eyes of loved ones. Joyful conversations that bring much inspiration. Making new friends and genuinely connecting. All the moments that make this season so special for me. So thankful and I hope you’re able to pause and inhale all the special moments that make our stories so unique.

 

My hope for this blog post is that it continues to inspire you to dream, to grow and to create in fabulously authentic ways. May we all deepen our sense of creativity, self-love, clarity, fulfillment, gratitude and joy in our lives as we make living in the present moment our primary focus.
