I tried something new. I’ve been thinking about, writing and listening to stories and decided it was time to support my love for storytelling. I am after all a visual storyteller.
So, I joined @blackfutureslab for a zoom call on the topic. We heard @eddiemstoryteller share some of his moving stories, listened to an inspiring song and then split into groups after having 7 minutes to free write. The topic I chose was “what is my bubble?” …
What is my bubble? Walking around in my bubble of gratitude and sun shining through. Watching the clouds pass by. Thankful to be here. Staying connected brings me peace and joy. Really, it’s the result of the journey and all that came before. Helped me see more clearly all that I have to be thankful for. Cause when you don’t have but must provide life feels like a challenging ride. I’ve dug deep and at times felt tossed around. Wildly searching for pieces that had to be found… confidence, joy, self-love, abundance, faith, trust, and inner peace. Here I am once again uncovering more. Arms stretched to the sky, head held high, heart open, rooted. Flowing with the tides. I am ready. It is my time.

Inspiring Creativity:I’m planning on co-hosting a storytelling jam session via zoom, please email me if you’re interested in joining. My love for storytelling and poetry writing began long ago, way back in eighth grade. Bridget Barkan (a bestie of mine) and I would sit on the hallway steps and together we’d pour our hearts onto the page, then share, comment and uplift each other. So fortunate for our time together, creating, envisioning, laughing, and forever inspiring one another. NOTE PG-13 content Check out her latest video, she’s truly phenomenal!
My hope for this blog post is that it continues to inspire you to dream, to grow and to create in fabulously authentic ways. May we all deepen our sense of creativity, self-love, clarity, fulfillment, gratitude and joy in our lives as we make living in the present moment our primary focus.
As always, I truly appreciate your friendship, your continued encouragement and generous referrals. If you have any suggestions, questions or thoughts please call or email judith@judithrae.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
love + light,
